How does it work

You can either search by the name of the restaurant or browse the different food categories available, depending on what you are craving. You can also filter options by price, delivery fees, and dietary restrictions.
After selecting your meal of choice, you proceed to the checkout, where you will see your address, the estimated time it will take for your food to get there, and the different payment options. Once everything is set up, you just place the order and wait. While your order is being prepared, you can track it in the app, where you will be notified step by step.
Once the food is ready, the platform will assign a delivery person to pick it up and bring it to your door. While they are on their way, you can track them on the map. On the app, you will also see the name of the person in charge of the delivery and a photo. The drivers, or riders, may use a car, bike, or scooter as their means of transport for the delivery.

With Uber Eats, you can order food and groceries from their website or app, which is available for devices with Android, as well as with iOS. The ordering process is pretty much the same, regardless of the device you use. To use the services, you will need to create an Uber account. Mind that, if you already use the Uber app for transportation services, you can use the same username and password for Uber Eats.
Cool features of Uber Eats
- If you are making an order from their website, you can arrange a group order. Once you have decided on a restaurant, you can press the "Start Group Oder" button and share the link with other members of your party so everyone can choose their food separately, while still making one single order.
- Uber Eats includes a function that allows you to schedule an order for a later time. You just need to select the meal of your choice from their website or app and select the option "Schedule for later".
- Once your order is ready and a delivery person has been assigned to it, you can track them on the map. That way, you know exactly when your order is about to arrive.
Uber Eats Pro
Uber Eats Pro is a rewards program for those who work delivering food from restaurants to customers. This program rewards their collaborators for their good service to restaurants and customers. For every completed delivery, collaborators earn points.
If the delivery is during lunch or dinner hours, they get extra points. Based on the points earned in a month, they are placed in different categories with different rewards, such as discounts on car services, fuel, road assistance, memberships, and even health, dental, and vision insurance.
